As the saying goes actions speak louder than words, and everything Glyn did epitomised what a gentle, caring yet humble man he was. You cannot choose your family, but to have Glyn as such a huge part of mine was a blessing. They’ll certainly be a tear in my eye the next time I break a clay of a Saturday morning but it’ll be closely followed by a smile to remember the great man who introduced me to the sport and who I was privileged to not only have as an uncle but to call a friend. Rest in peace Glyn.
